In a perfect world, we’d all try to use our phones less in front of our children. But most of us have jobs, messages to answer, and people who rely on us. Phoney is a bilingual (English–Spanish) tool that looks like a board book designed to help parents of babies and toddlers gently reduce how much their children see them using a phone. It includes a discreet compartment that fits phones as large as an iPhone Pro Max. Phoney also includes child friendly pages so If a child wanders over, instead of seeing a screen, they’ll find friendly farm animals, the sounds they make, and simple sensory activities the parent can show and engage their child with.
HOW IT WORKS
Place your phone inside the hidden compartment.
Use your phone as needed — messages, emails, work
If your child approaches, switch over to the book pages and show them the fun farm animals, the sounds they make or a simple sensory activity.
No setup or instructions to follow — just options.
Key Features
Discreet Tech Compartment: A secure, hidden slot that accommodates phones up to the size of an iPhone Pro Max. Your screen stays accessible to you, but invisible to them.
Bilingual Early Learning: Each page features friendly farm animals and their sounds in both English and Spanish, encouraging language development from day one.
Engagement-First Design: If your child wanders over, they don’t see a distracting screen; they see vibrant illustrations and simple sensory activities you can do together.
Quality Construction: Built with the durability of a classic board book to survive the hands (and mouths) of curious toddlers.

Absolutely love it. It’s a cute actual book but I get to conceal my phone from my baby. I also love the Mother’s Day packaging it came in and how fast shipping was
